The Caloundra Street Fair

The Caloundra Street Fair is on every Sunday from 8am – 1pm on Bulcock Street, Caloundra and showcases up to 200 stallholders that are hand selected. This ensures a wide variety of products, health and well-being services plus lots of fresh food options, and street food. It also features a range of local performers every week ranging from well-known established performers to emerging artists across a range of music genres, performers and street theater.

Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza 

3 December 2023

The 2023 Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza incorporating the Hinterland Carols will be a six hour festive show incorporating local entertainers, themed and costumed children’s entertainment by the Santas, as well as performances by our local youth groups, free rides and food & market stalls. A free community event for kids of all ages. This event and venue is an “alcohol free” zone. As the program is expected to conclude with fireworks, we suggest that pets may be safer if left at home.

Woodford Folk Festival

27 December – 1 Jan 2024

The Woodford Folk Festival is held annually over six days and six nights, from Dec 27th through to January 1st. More than 2,000 local, national and international, artists, musicians and presenters put on over 438 acts to an audience of an estimated 132,000 people.
The festival streets are lined with restaurants, cafes, stalls, bars, street theatre and parades. Tree-filled campgrounds, butterfly walks, ponds and wildlife complete the picturesque site. The festival appeals to a diverse audience with all ages and many nationalities attracted each year. It’s a magical experience, and one not to be missed.

Noosa Festival of Surfing 

8 March – 17 March 2024

The Noosa Festival of Surfing brings the spirit, culture and the joys of surfing to the shores of Noosa Heads, a World Surfing Reserve. It is Australia’s largest longboard surfing event, which attracts visitors from all over Australia and the world. This event shares the stoke of surfing by celebrating and educating with a well-rounded program of surf culture, competition, art, live music, film and environmental awareness.

Australian Surf Life Saving Championships

13 April – 21 April 2024

The 2024 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships will be held On the Sunshine Coast, Queensland at Alexandra Headland SLSC, Maroochydore SLSC and Mooloolaba SLSC. The Aussies is an annual event where members from Australia’s 314 Surf Clubs come together to compete in more than 480 beach and ocean events. It is the largest event of its kind, only comparing the likes of the Commonwealth Games. The events cover all the skills required to save a life, from water skills to beach skills to first aid and team events.

Downunder Beachfest

Beachfest is an annual event that celebrates hot rod, custom and classic motor vehicles and the rock n roll life style. It is held annually on the Sunshine Coast and runs over five days during June.

Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival

9 August – 11 August 2024

The Sunshine Coast Marathon and Community Run Festival is a member of the Association of International Marathons and Road Races (AIMS) and is one of the most-loved running festivals in Australia. Event distances include the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and the 2km. Each road race follows the stunning coastline of Alexandra Headland with white sandy beaches and spectacular vantage points alongside the ocean.

The 2km event allows parents with prams and wheelchair entrants to take part and enjoy the festival atmosphere. Race start times are scheduled to allow for parents to run the longer distances and then return in time to run with the kids and enjoy all the free fun in the family entertainment precinct.

Gympie Music Muster

22 August – 25 August 2024

The Gympie Music Muster has been entertaining locals and visitors to the Sunshine Coast for over 40 years and hosts some of the best entertainers in Australian country music. The festival runs over four days and is held in Amamoor Creek State Forest. Located 40-kilometres southwest of Gympie, a 1 hour drive from Caloundra.
